The students decide together which books to study in Literature. They submit options, we read the first three pages together and then decide on a book to read over the following weeks. We pre-read pages at home and in class we discuss the themes, characters and events and connect to our own lives and the world we live in. A beautiful element of this class are the storied that students share about themselves that relate to the book we are reading.

* Our homework is usually optional, however the reading at home is a necessary part of this class.

** On occasion this class is shortened (by agreement) to enable a longer Wellbeing class.

Learn to find your way… read the stars, use a compass… build both your inner and outer resilience tool kit. Wellbeing hacks for life’s ups and downs. Forage and cook with wild foods, learn to build shelters, to use first aid and herbal remedies. Sit and talk around our virtual camp fire and share stories. Let the summer adventure begin! 🙂
