*Tuesdays isn’t available as a half-day because our Science experiments can extend over the whole day.

What, no Fridays? Nope. We think Fridays are best enjoyed wandering in the woods, having picnics, making music, riding horses,  going to the cinema, skateboarding, peering into rock pools, trampolining, lazing in a field, making jam… What do your Fridays look like?

What are our classes like?

Take a sneak peek with this short video

Mondays

10-10:25am. Start the day gently with yoga and other fun exercises followed by a short meditation. The check-in gives everyone the opportunity to share how they are feeling and any news they may have.

10:25-11:20am. We will “fly” to Spain and Latin America to discover fascinating cultures and countries. We will focus on Spanish as a living vibrant language, learning to communicate, laugh and sing in Spanish.

11:35-12:30pm. This class is an opportunity to study the chosen topic in the context of its effect on human beings and on their complex relationships with each other. It can include any combination of history, culture studies, geography, sociology, psychology and religious studies.

1:30-1:55pm. We come back together after lunch with gentle, fun exercises followed by a short meditation. The check-in gives everyone the opportunity to come back together and have a chat before getting back to work.

1:55-2:50pm. The time we live in has been called both “The age of information” and “The age of mis-information”. Never has it been more important to learn how to critically read, explore and think about the condition of the world we live in and how we can make a change for the better!
We will choose together which issues affecting our world we want to learn about, and learn what can be done about them!

3:05-4pm. In this class we are going to be entrepreneurs! We will decide on an initiative we want to do – and we will actually do it! On the way we will learn important practical skills, manage a budget and interview experts.

Tuesdays

I really enjoy Tuesday because the science that we do is really fascinating and there are 3 periods of it!

The students can write about whatever they like in the form of poems, stories, diary entries or articles.
